How Would Microsoft Deal with a Yahoo Acquistion?

Mike McCue hasn't talked to Yahoo Inc. co-founder Jerry Yang since Microsoft Corp. ambushed the Internet pioneer with an unsolicited takeover bid a month ago.

But McCue would like his old friend to know that becoming a Silicon Valley subsidiary of the world's largest software maker can work out well.

Becoming a cog in a corporate machine isn't something McCue had in mind during the eight years that he spent building Tellme, which makes the technology behind directory assistance and other voice-controlled services. It ranks as Microsoft's largest Silicon Valley acquisition so far.

The "Yicrosoft Directory" dream might not just be over yet. In the news it seemed like the Microsoft takeover of Yahoo was put to bed. But, stories like these keep popping up all over and I wish I was the guy who registered "Yicrosoft Directory" right away because it could end up making some cash.

Yicrosoft Directory

I am not going to lie - I kind of forgot about this whole "Yicrosoft Directory" challenge I entered about a month ago. The contest was designed as an SEO competition for trying to rank for the term "Yicrosoft Directory" at the top of the SERPS.

Now, since I didn't really do a whole lot except write 2 crap articles to get indexed and link to 1 PR 2 site I am probably not going to win this contest. But, I did manage to outrank almost all the competition (at least as of this moment) with those minuscule efforts for the term "Yicrosoft Directory".

I am not sure what my plans are for the next couple days, but I will attempt to outrank the 3-4 sites ahead of me with the term "Yicrosoft Directory" just to see what happens.
