In the news it seemed like the Microsoft takeover of Yahoo was put to bed. But, stories like these keep popping up all over and I wish I was the guy who registered "Yicrosoft Directory" right away because it could end up making some cash.

Editortag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1310455856444367346.post-84437401723916586642008-03-01T20:31:00.000-08:002008-03-01T20:39:22.192-08:00Yicrosoft DirectoryI am not going to lie - I kind of forgot about this whole "Yicrosoft Directory" challenge I entered about a month ago. The contest was designed as an SEO competition for trying to rank for the term "Yicrosoft Directory" at the top of the SERPS.

Now, since I didn't really do a whole lot except write 2 crap articles to get indexed and link to 1 PR 2 site I am probably not going to win this contest. But, I did manage to outrank almost all the competition (at least as of this moment) with those minuscule efforts for the term "Yicrosoft Directory".

I am not sure what my plans are for the next couple days, but I will attempt to outrank the 3-4 sites ahead of me with the term "Yicrosoft Directory" just to see what happens.Editortag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1310455856444367346.post-37100294389224918992008-02-05T08:06:00.000-08:002008-02-05T08:11:43.311-08:00Yicrosoft TakeoverWell, my first post for some reason didn't work as the misspelling. I am not sure why, but I will let you know about the "Yicrosoft Takeover". Essentially, the "Yicrosoft Takeover" is what is going to happen to directories in the future. Two huge companies, Yahoo and Microsoft will merge to create a "Yicrosoft Takeover".

What will this mean for us? Well, the "Yicrosoft Takeover" will mean we will loose more and more directories to bigger and bigger competition. That means we won't have as much choice for directories as usual. The fact is, a "Yicrosoft Takeover" will not be good for anyone but Microsoft and Yahoo. So, I think we need to fight the "Yicrosoft Takeover" by writing about it and letting those companies know we do not agree.

The "Yicrosoft Takeover" could be stopped if we ban together. We could make a difference and not allow a "Yicrosoft Takeover".Editortag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1310455856444367346.post-25618979296087364112008-02-04T22:52:00.001-08:002008-02-04T22:56:17.013-08:00Yicrasoft DirectorySo, I am sure that you have heard of Microsoft and Yahoo. But, have you every heard of "Yicrasoft Directory"?

Basically, "yicrasoft directory" is a mashup between Microsoft and Yahoo. The purpose of this post, as well, is do get some indexing in Google.

How do I get "yicrasoft directory" and a new site indexed this quickly? Well, it is pretty simple actually. I will be using the keyword "yicrasoft directory" a misspelling of another keyword I am attempting to win a contest for. By me keyword stuffing this post with "yicrasoft directory" I can get this site indexed so I have a good shot at winning this competition.

Getting a site indexed is the first major hurdle in the competition and "yicrasoft directory" will help me accomplish this.Editor
